Collection Agencies & Aspects Shared With Entities In Gaming

By Rob Sutter

It's clear that collection agencies have performed well in the past and they understand what it takes in order to attain what is owed. After all, clients have amounts which have to be gained and they may not be able to claim them on their own. In essence, these agencies work as third parties, operating on behalf of someone else in order to make sure that business is done. That being said, is it possible that companies in the gaming industry share more than a couple of traits?

It seems to be that way, especially when you have the main console companies operating at high levels constantly. As much as I am a fan of Sony, though, do you actually believe that they perform business in house? They have to turn to other companies in order to create their games while Sony oversees and publishes them as the processes move along. If it were not for Sony, then Naughty Dog would not have been able to bring the "Uncharted" series to the surface.

Nintendo knows that content is what drives consoles, which seems to be its approach with the current Wii U console. "Lego City Undercover," for example, is one title which was released thanks to the help of Nintendo. The massive mogul funded and published the game so that it was able to see the light of day, though exclusively on Wii U. However, it proved to do well in terms of sales, with both the game's quality and the name's recognition being put to great use.

The biggest gaming moguls want to make impact, which goes without saying, but can this necessarily be done without third parties? To me, they offer the support needed in order to help push companies to levels which are higher than what were probably thought possible. It seems like collection agencies can serve in similar fashions, considering that they are third parties in the sense of attaining debts. When individuals alone cannot go through this process, such entities as Rapid Recovery are the ones which are brought into effect.

While this may not be the most obvious comparison to make, it definitely seems like there are certain elements to consider. No matter how miniscule they may appear on the surface, I think that they could be feasibly made. Sometimes individuals have to leave their matters in the hands of someone else, whether you're talking about game creation or collecting certain amounts. When the work can become properly done by someone else, it's hard to argue why such a partnership is made between the sides.
